As CEO, Jason is responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of Caddis’ real estate portfolio. His primary duties include the financing and structuring of transactions, as well as guiding Caddis’ strategic direction. He is significantly involved in all development and acquisition projects.
During his career, Jason has successfully closed over $1 billion in healthcare real estate assets in ten states, totaling over three million square feet. He has extensive experience in underwriting hospitals, physician practices, post-acute care facilities, senior housing and ambulatory surgery centers. He specializes in understanding physician referral patterns in an effort to maximize the earning potential within a given asset. In 2016, Jason was named the Healthcare Real Estate Executive of the Year by Healthcare Real Estate Insights.
Jason graduated with a BS in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University, where he served as class president and was the recipient of the Cox School of Business Outstanding Young Alumni Award. He currently serves as Chairman for the Texas Business Hall of Fame, a member of the real estate advisory boards at Folsom Institute at SMU and the Mays School of Business at Texas A&M University, and is past President of the Dad’s Club for University Park Elementary School. Raised in the Texas Hill Country, he cared for 25 horses before catching the bus to school every day, and later led horseback excursions along the Continental Divide. Today, he enjoys ranching, raising animals, fly fishing and spending time with his family.
